“Pork-Out” with Papa Murphy’s everyday in October and receive a discount coupon to the farm
Head to any participating Puget Sound Papa Murphy’s Pizza this fall and you’ll receive a discount coupon to Maris Farms. You can order takeout throughout the month of October and the coupon will come wrapped up with your pizza.
Papa Murphy’s has also generously agreed to offer a match of all dollars donated at this season’s Pig Races at Maris Farms. Mock bets are placed on each of the 30 pig races for $1, $5 or $10 and all those bets are given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the form of a donation. Papa Murphy’s will have its own “set” of pigs (the Horse Racing group) and will be sampling their pizza at the farm on Oct. 8th and 16th.
Maris Farms has helped raise more than $6,000 with its Triple Pig Crown racing series event over the past 2 years and hopes to increase that contribution significantly with the Papa Murphy’s partnership.
“Anything we can do to help raise awareness and money for St. Jude’s mission, we want to be a part of,” says Steve Templeman, marketing and promotions director and creator of the pig racing event at Maris Farms. “This is a full-on partnership with Papa Murphy’s, and they are very gracious with what they are offering. Nobody takes that for granted.”
