Plan A Visit
We are a Real Working Farm!
Please keep in mind Maris Farms is operated around a rustic dairy farm setting and natural environments. You may encounter uneven terrain, rocks, mud, and corn leaves. We want to help you plan accordingly!
“We want your family to visit our family,” Dale Maris says.
“It’s all part of being your family farm.”
What to Wear
It’s fall time. The weather can be unpredictable — sunny and 70s one weekend, sideways rain the next. You want to make sure and dress for the occasion. Our suggestions are footwear that can handle mud, gravel and uneven terrain; bring a warm jacket and/or rain jacket with you; jeans or sweats are always fine fall attire. On a nice, warm day, it might be nice to have a pair of shorts to walk around in and a good pair of tennis shoes. Nighttime activities will bring out the chill, so keep that in mind.
What to Bring
What you bring will depend on what you want to do and what the weather is like.
On a rainy day, be sure and bring your umbrella and some boots as well as a rain slicker and possibly some towels to wipe off mud and dry off before getting back in your vehicle.
Bring flashlights ONLY for the night corn maze.
Ticket and Concession Payment Options
Bring cash, check, bank or credit cards. We do not have an atm but we can do cash back with our debit machines at the front gate. Concessions only take cash.
What to Eat!
We do not suggest or recommend that visitors bring their own picnic-lunches as we have concessions at the farm and would like to keep our vendors busy. However, if it is a scheduled party, they are more than welcome to bring their own food or we can have it done for them through our concessions.
Picture opportunities aplenty!
Weekends 10-5:30 PM and Wed-Fri 3-5:30 PM - We have a cornucopia, sunken tractor with benches,
old trucks, haywagon and many other scenic options with Mt. Rainier in the background
Need a Discount?
There are special packages for groups of 10 or more (corn maze and courtyard) as well as those who choose to come during the week. Check Hours/Tickets for the options. If these don’t work for you, give us a call!
