Farm Activities
And There’s More: Let Us Entertain You! | Pig Races | Pumpkin Patch | Courtyard for Children
The fun is endless at Maris Farms in the fall, with activities available for ALL ages.
Read on to find out what you can generally plan for, and visit the links above for lots more fun.
We’ve got Farm Animals!
Visit our animal barn full of fun and cute critters. Free and open during our daytime hours. We have bunnies, chickens, turkeys and goats. Hand washing stations are available at the barn as well.
And a Cornfield Maze!
Getting lost is half the fun in our maze! It’s a series of trails cut into a large field of corn in a maze pattern for you to solve (by walking, that is). The maze has several large bridges to cross to enjoy a panoramic view of the field and farm during the day. Or you can come for an a-mazing Adventure in the Dark , if you dare! Find out more …
Take a Hayride!
A scenic, slow paced ride around our PumpkinPatch. The hayride runs every 15 minutes from 10-6 PM (weather permitting) on Saturdays and Sundays in October. On a clear day, Mt Rainier will oversee your ride and pumpkin patch adventure. Please note: Hay rides may be canceled without notice in the event of inclement weather or very slow crowd conditions.
Jump Around on our Pillows!
This super-sized, air-filled rubberized jumping pillow is tons of fun, safe, and has no hard surfaces to land on. It is an “all age” product and equally suitable to all shapes and sizes. It can also be a great opportunity to burn those extra calories you’ve added from eating roasted corn or tire those kids out before the long drive home.
Enjoy Pony Rides on the Weekend!
Yep, it’s a weekend family favorite! Our little ponies will take your little tykes for a walk under our under a covered area. Our ponies will carry children up to 100 pounds.
This is a wonderful photo/video opportunity for parents and grandparents, capturing the youngsters glee!
Send us your favorite video clips to post online!
Getting Hungry?
Grab a picnic table for your family feast — we have them located conveniently all around Maris Farm! We have two espresso stands, and the Milk House Café is open weekends.
Enjoy these tasty treats:
Daily fare: Bottled water, canned soda, chips, candy and espresso.
Weekend fare: Roasted corn, Lemon Squeezers, and Kettle Corn.
Picture opportunities aplenty!
We have a cornucopia, sunken tractor with benches, old trucks, haywagon and many other scenic options with Mt. Rainier in the background.
